Hospital staff and Friends volunteers gathered on 19 December 2024 to celebrate their hard work over the year.
The Friends treated them to lunch in Marion’s Restaurant in recognition of the amazing work that goes on at the Hospital, by those both paid and unpaid. The catering department provided a wonderful hot buffet and the drinks were flowing. With donations from the local Marks & Spencer Food store and elsewhere the raffle was very successful, and the prizes were given out by the Chairman of the NHS Trust.
Chairman of the Friends Brian Knight MBE congratulated and thanked all the staff and volunteers for their service, and for the great difference that they make for patients at the hospital. Very well done to you all!
