The sun came out for a beautiful day on Saturday 27 July 2024, as we gathered for the Bognor Hospital Summer Fete!

The Fete is run by staff from the Hospital who kindly give their spare time to benefit the Friends, along with many of our Friends volunteers and the Committee.  An excellent day was had as our local community came out to support us and take advantage of the wonderful stalls we were able to offer this year, including:

  • The Friends Grand Draw (raffle), with prizes kindly donated by local businesses
  • Books, DVDs and Bric-a-Brac stalls
  • BBQ and Cream Teas
  • Country Produce, flowers and plants
  • Children’s toys and games
  • Handbags and accessories
  • Cakes and Sweets stalls
  • Tombola, Bottle Tombola, and Guess the ??? stalls
  • Shabby Chic homewares
  • Skill games including Darts and Strength Test
  • Plus face painting and an ice cream van!

Everyone was kept entertained through the day by Daves Music, the Suzanne Hill School of Dance, and Selsey Shanty Men.  Thank you all for performing so well during the very hot weather!

The final pounds and pennies have now been counted, and we would like to thank your local community, local businesses, and supporters of the Hospital for coming out to spend the afternoon with us, and support our wonderful Bognor Hospital.

A fantastic total of £7,374.76p was raised to help continue our work making the Hospital a more pleasant place!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make the Fete a success.  This money goes directly to Bognor Hospital to benefit the patients and staff, and we really do appreciate your ongoing support.

See you in 2025!
